Arda Yiğit Biography

Electronic music composer, producer, producer of Logic Pro Turkish Education Videos on YouTube, musician at Renksiz.

He was born on October 21, 1984 in Burdur. His interest in music was noticed by his father at the age of 6. At this age, he started his musical notation and keyboard training. He learned to play classical guitar, acoustic guitar and electric guitar, respectively, with his interest in rock music during his middle school and high school years. He started to sing along with the guitar and wrote his first song when he was in secondary school. In his high school years, he wrote songs with English lyrics and took the stage with his band or solo at some venues and school festivals.

In 2002, he won the Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and left Burdur. As soon as he started school in Ankara, he entered the music club and started meeting people who would form the Rock&Heavy Metal band he had dreamed of for a long time. During the 5 years he was in Ankara, he composed compositions with his band Anova, recorded demos and gave more than 40 concerts at university festivals, special festivals and live music venues.

With the end of his university years, Anova also disbanded. The musician, who settled in Antalya until 2012, focused on the profession of veterinary medicine and moved away from music for a while, became a member of the group Renksiz with the inclusion of Özlem Akpınar YİĞİT in his life. And creating a home studio, he began writing songs as Renksiz and doing research and experimentation on sound recording and music technologies. He discovered the Logic Pro program, which is a sound recording and music technologies program, and started to improve himself on this program. During these researches, he realized that there was no sharing on these issues from Turkey at YouTube. Thinking that other people would need it, he opened a YouTube channel on Sound Recording and Music Technologies and started to share what he knew with musicians for free. These video series lasted for many years. These video series lasted for many years. You can still access the videos as “Logic Pro Türkçe Eğitim Videoları”. The musician, who settled in Istanbul after living in different cities such as Burdur, Ankara, Antalya and Van, has been working here since 2016. The musician, who takes the stage both in Renksiz and solo, has taken part in many projects as a Producer, Mix & Mastering, Arranger and continues to take place.

The musician released his EP called Septic Dreams on his birthday, October 21, in 2021. Septic Dreams, a concept EP consisting of 6 songs, tells a sci-fi story about the insatiability of human beings and their expansion into space with this insatiable and consumerist perspective.

He released his single named Wartime Child on April 30, 2022. With this single, he focused on the experiences of children in the Syria and Ukraine wars.
